The Decatur Weed and Seed Program is designed to help participating neighborhoods prevent, control, and reduce violent crime, drug abuse, and gang activity, while fostering social, economic, and environmental revitalization.
Weed & Seed helps participating neighborhoods help themselves, enabling them to develop solutions to public safety problems and to strengthen leadership to implement and sustain those solutions in our community.
